Vaccine protocols at Bow Valley College campuses
Following guidance from Alberta Health Service, the Chief Medical Officer of Alberta, and the Government of Alberta, the College has made decisions regarding vaccination requirements. The College is aligning with guidance from the province and Alberta’s Chief Medical Officer and is removing our proof of vaccine requirement to access campus effective February 24, 2022.
While the College no longer requires proof of vaccination to enter our campuses, students and employees are encouraged to get vaccinated to help protect themselves and others.
Requirements for entering the College
Effective February 14, 2022, Bow Valley College began its phased approach for in-person class delivery. Please review the most up to date information here.- Effective February 24, 2022: Proof of vaccine is no longer required to access College campuses.
- The College continues to follow the Government of Alberta and City of Calgary’s timelines on mask use. Until mask bylaws are removed, mandatory mask procedures must be followed at all times.
- Anyone who is experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 should stay home.
Vaccine availability
Imagine Health on West campus has COVID-19 vaccines available to residents of Alberta. You can book an appointment Monday to Friday by calling the pharmacy at 403-775-9669. All Albertans can book appointments with AHS online, by calling 811. Appointments can also be booked through participating pharmacies. Walk-in appointments for first doses are also available.
