You are ready, willing, and able to attend school, but you don't have money to pay for upgrading? Check if you are eligible for Alberta Works grant funding provided by the government. Unemployed or marginally employed adult residents of Alberta that have financial need and require skills training to find stable employment could qualify for this type of financial help.

Hana Taleb Imai is the Dean of the School of Global Access and Foundational Learning. She has worked at Bow Valley College since 2002 in teaching, curriculum design, project management and leadership roles.

Hana Taleb Imai

Hana Taleb Imai is the Dean of the School of Global Access and Foundational Learning. She has worked at Bow Valley College since 2002 in teaching, curriculum design, project management and leadership roles. Hana has had experience teaching in both Canadian and overseas contexts.

 

Hana’s unwavering commitment to ensuring that students get the best of both in class and out of class learning experiences guides many of the projects that she administers.

 

An active committee member, Hana sits on the Intercultural Centre Advisory and Internationalization Innovation Fund committees. Past volunteer experiences have included, sitting on Academic Council (three terms), being the faculty representative on the Board of Governors (two terms) and holding a position on the Bow Valley College Faculty Association executive for four years.

 

Hana has a Bachelor degree in International Development and Adult Education from the University of Guelph. She has a Master of Education in Workplace and Adult Learning from the University of Calgary. She also holds a post graduate certificate in Intercultural Studies from the University of British Columbia. Hana is a Qualified Administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory.
