Your roadmap to student success.

Welcome to Bow Valley College. New Student Orientation is important for all students joining the Bow Valley College community for the first time. Attend the virtual Spring 2020 New Student Orientation on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 to:

  • Get the right tools to succeed in your academic courses and be comfortable with BVC before classes begin
  • Meet fellow students, alumni, your instructors and program chairs
  • Learn about the many free resources and student services available at BVC
Some programs may have extra activities during the first week of classes, but this orientation is required for all new Bow Valley College students. If you are an international student, you may need to attend regular orientation and international education orientation.

There are two parts of the New Student Orientation (NSO).
  1. Visit Online NSO course in D2L Brightspace (available from April 29 and onward)
  2. Join a virtual Live NSO session through Microsoft Teams on April 29, 2020 at 9am-12pm (please join 10 minutes before the session starts)

Make sure you are all set with the systems prior to the orientation date. Click here to learn more.
