Module 1 introduces you to an integrated and holistic approach to maintenance and asset management and improve your organizational performance in areas of maintenance and asset management. Topics covered include:
- The Maintenance Excellence Pyramid
- The links between the Maintenance Excellence Pyramid with tools to evaluate and better understand organizational position

Individuals who complete all eight courses/modules and are members of the PEMAC Asset Management Association of Canada can apply for the Maintenance Management Professional (MMP) designation from PEMAC.
Maintenance Strategy Development Certificate
Participants who successfully complete Module 1, An Integrated Strategy for Maintenance Management and Module 5, Maintenance Strategy Development of the Maintenance Management Professional (MMP) program can apply for Maintenance Strategy Development Certificate of completion.
Upon completion of the two modules, participants will have a better understanding of the benefits of an integrated maintenance management strategy, as well as the fundamentals of a robust maintenance program, and the various maintenance processes and methods that should be included.
Maintenance Work Management Certificate
Participants who successfully complete Module 1, An Integrated Strategy for Maintenance Management and Module 6, Maintenance Work Management of the Maintenance Management Professional (MMP) program can apply for Maintenance Work Management Certificate of completion.
Upon completion of the two modules, participants will have a better understanding of the benefits of an integrated maintenance management strategy, as well as the fundamental principles of work management processes in addition to the basics of planning, scheduling, and work coordination methods.
