Program Description
In these classes, you will improve your listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. You will do this by exploring topics of local interest. Courses are 10 weeks long and offered through the Airdrie, Banff, and High River Campuses at the following levels:
LINC levels 3 - 4
Tuesday and Thursday
9:30 am to 12:30 pm OR 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm
April 20 - June 24, 2021

Admission Requirements
- Be a minimum of 18 years old
- Have Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) levels 1 to 6
- Be a permanent resident or Convention refugee
To get into this program, you need your CLB placement test results or your LINC certificate from a LINC program.
LINC applicants must first take a CLB test at the Calgary Language Assessment & Referral Centre (CLARC). The telephone number for CLARC is 403-262-2656. Placement testing is available at some regional campuses. Please contact your closest Regional Campus for more information.
