Program Description
In this online program, you can develop your English skills while maintaining your work and family commitments. LINC Home Study is offered from Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) levels 3 to 8. This program is open to Alberta residents (outside of Calgary) who are unable to attend LINC classes in person.
Students in LINC Home Study:
- Meet with a teacher online for 30 minutes once a week
- Do 5-7 hours of independent study every week
- Need a computer with high-speed internet, camera, and microphone

To start, you need CLB 3 in Listening and Speaking and CLB 2 in Reading and Writing.

No. The Bow Valley College LINC Home Study program serves Alberta residents (outside of Calgary) who are unable to attend LINC classes in person. If you live in Calgary, but cannot attend regular LINC classes, please contact The Immigrant Education Society (TIES) about their LINC Home Study program.
