Program Description

The Dual Credit program is available for students at any high school in Alberta. This program makes it possible for high school students to take first year college courses. Students then receive credit for both high school and college.

Courses and programs that may be available include Anatomy & Physiology, Business Communication,  Communication & Interpersonal Skills, Intro to Psychology, Intro to Criminal Justice, Intro to Management, Intro to Marketing, Intro to Entrepreneurship, Medical Terminology, Personal Health & Wellness.


High school students interested in taking Dual Credit courses should contact their guidance counsellors.

Admission Requirements

High school students taking dual credit courses do not have to meet Bow Valley College admission requirements. After completing high school, students will have to meet all admission requirements before they are accepted into Bow Valley College.
