Course Description
There are important differences between "leadership" and "management," and between "power" and "authority." This course focuses on the development of leadership skills and the exercise of power within a framework of skilled and effective leadership behaviours.
Building on your practical nursing education, you will learn how to transition to leadership roles. You will gain the knowledge and skills to take on formal and informal leadership roles in a health care environment. This course takes a practical approach to learning.
Available anytime online, you will have four months to complete this course.
You will receive a certificate once you have successfully completed this course.
