This course will introduce you to Integrate inclusive teaching practices to better meet the needs of English language learners.
In this course you will:
- Identity inclusive teaching approaches and describe culturally responsive teaching
- Consider learners’ diverse backgrounds and learning abilities
- Examine the role of course content and delivery in an inclusive learning and teaching environment
- Integrate strategies and best practices relevant to inclusive education in your learning and teaching environments
This course is 100% online and has a peer-learning focus. Successful course completion will be based on active participation in discussion board forums, completion of activities and the submission of a final assignment. The time commitment is typically 12 hours.
A course delivery mode that combines elements of non-scheduled and scheduled activity. Learners will be able to participate partly at times of their own choosing and are also required to participate in some scheduled online learning activities. Scheduled exams may be required.
