Craig Elias, Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Bow Valley College has spent his career helping people bring their ideas to life and build their own businesses, and now he’s here to help you, our Bow Valley College grads! Craig was featured in Avenue Magazine’s Calgarians We Love series alongside other 14 remarkable Calgarians for their work in the community, and we are excited to be able to share his entrepreneurial expertise with you. We are proud that Craig was recognized for inspiring Calgary’s next generation of entrepreneurs and grateful for all his contributions to supporting our student and alumni entrepreneurs. 

Our entrepreneurship programs, VentureQuest, Innovation Rodeo, and 150 Startups, offer practical learning experiences for students and alumni that can help you develop employable and entrepreneurial skills. The programs are funded by our generous donors, RBC and the Hunter Family Foundation, who have supported Bow Valley College students with over $700,000 in funding. Upcoming VentureQuest entrepreneurship activities available to alumni include:

March 18th to April 3rd – Educational seminars:
•    Starting your first business or side-hustle (March 18th at noon or March 20th at 10 a.m.)

April 4th - Deadline to apply to The VentureQuest Business Idea Competition 11:59 p.m. MST 
VentureQuest entrepreneurship program gives Bow Valley College students and alumni, the chance to start a business that can have a positive impact on the community. For more information please click here.

April 22nd - VentureQuest Crowd Favourite Finalist Pitch Competition. Details about this event will be shared in an email invitation closer to the date.

Every other Wednesday starting on January 27th - WannaB Wednesdays
