Update On Bow Valley College Tuition And Fees

March 12, 2020

Bow Valley College will continue to provide enriched learning opportunities for our students. In total, Bow Valley College received a 9.9% reduction to our funding from the Campus Alberta Grant. The Government of Alberta lifted the domestic tuition freeze, allowing post-secondary institutions to raise overall tuition for domestic students by 7% per year, for the next three years, with no program increasing by more than 10%. The Bow Valley College Board of Governors has approved a tuition fee increase for 2020/2021. Tuition for domestic students will increase overall by 7%; however, a breakdown of tuition fees specific to each program are available on our website here. Two new mandatory fees, a Technology Fee and a Learner Health and Wellness Fee, will be introduced for full-time and part-time students. The cost ranges from $25 to $50 per semester. No other fees were changed. Providing high-quality education and a positive student experience will continue to remain a priority for the College.
