Description
This is not a program.
Bow Valley College is offering a selection of individual courses to Internationally Educated Nurses to refresh their knowledge base.
This is not a program; these are individual non-credit courses. These courses are not required by any nursing regulatory body (i.e. CRNA) and no certificate is provided after completing any course. You will need to access your unofficial transcript which will show course completion.
The courses are designed for Internationally Educated Nurses who would like to practice in Alberta or Canada as a Registered Nurse. The courses are focused on providing information in an Alberta and Canadian context in many areas of nursing. Courses are delivered in an anytime online flexible format that you complete at your own pace. You can take as many courses as you like in any order, with each being offered at the beginning of every month.
There are no pre-requisites required to register for these courses, but you should have nursing experience or nursing education to complete the courses.
Please refer to CRNA College of Registered Nurses of Alberta and CLPNA College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta for licensing requirements.
