Course Description

A theoretical and practical assessment of sterile compounding processes for pharmacy personnel, the course includes completion of written test, a media fill test, and gloved fingertip sampling.  This recertification course is designed to fulfil the requirements of NAPRA’s Model Standards for Pharmacy Compounding of Non-Hazardous Sterile Preparations’ competency assessment program.

The first ten hours of this course are online self-study. You will get access to this component on the start date. The online component must be completed two days before the lab component.  Please contact us for more information at 403-476-2223 or study@bowvalleycollege.ca

Pharmacy labs are being renovated May to August 2019.  Course will resume in the Fall of 2019.
