Bow Valley College reveals new donor wall

The donor wall is located across from the Esmail and Safana Bharwani Hall in North Campus.

Bow Valley College is proud to unveil our new donor wall to celebrate the generous impact of our donor community on our students. You can't miss this showcase which is located across from the Esmail and Safana Bharwani Hall (N231) in our North Campus. You can't miss this showcase which recognizes our individual, corporate, foundation, and government community donors who make a difference in the lives of our students.

”Our donor wall is a really great way for us to honour our community and their support, which goes far to ensuring our students can access a life-changing education here at Bow Valley College,” says Tasneem Rahim, Director, Fund Development and Alumni Engagement. “These donors not only support student awards, scholarships, and bursaries but help fund innovative programs and tools that help remove barriers for our students so they can be work ready at graduation. We are humbled and honoured to showcase the impact of these donors on our walls here on campus.”

The College’s Fund Development team encourage employees, students, donors, and friends of the College to visit the donor wall and see the tremendous list of benefactors in our city who have supported our College through their contributions. Large or small, together our donors make a difference for our College community and help ensure that access to an education remains a reality for all our students. You may recognize some names on the wall – the names of employees, friends, and Calgary corporate partners who help make our campuses a great place to learn and work, and reflect the commitment and passion we all share for college education.

In 2021/22 Bow Valley College awarded more than 565 students with more than $918,000 in student awards and bursaries, thanks to funding from donors you see on these walls. These financial contributions  provide our students with the Bow Valley College advantage: small class sizes, hands-on learning, and a focus on real skills to help our students fuel the base of the economic pyramid. We help our students open the doors to their future and open their minds to careers that are critical to supporting Alberta's diversifying industries.
