In Support Of Scholar Strike On Sept. 9 - 10

Bow Valley College strongly condemns anti-Black racism, anti-Indigenous racism and racism in all forms. On September 9 and 10, a Scholar Strike is planned across Canada to bring attention to racism and institutional brutality directed against Black, Indigenous and other racialized communities. The Bow Valley College Executive team is in support of faculty and student participation in this Canada-wide initiative and engaging learners in the program provided, as well as what commitments and actions the College will be taking to address these topics and create space for meaningful dialogue in the coming weeks and months.  Our College continues to work on diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives. We continue to create and explore proactive recommendations for the College that captures the uniqueness of the individual; creating an environment that values and respects individuals for their talents, skills and abilities to the benefit of the collective in alignment with the Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion, 2020.

Our community stands against any form of violation against human rights.
