Truth and Reconciliation

An opportunity to grow your understanding of what reconciliation and nation building means with Indigenous peoples. Hear and learn from Michelle Robinson, Evans Yellow Old Woman, Gloria Lee and James Kuptana about lived experiences in seeking connection through nationhood.

As well, we will learn about the importance of the culture and teachings that guide our communities, the importance in learning the responsibility that you and we all have in Alberta, Canada when it comes to being a treaty person. Ask questions and share your own view of what reconciliation means and can look like in Canada. Open to all students and staff.

Lunch and discussions will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
