Connections to the Workplace Available in the Foothills
FOOTHILLS -Connections to the Workplace is a career focus project that is available to post-secondary graduates and employers in Calgary and the Foothills region.
The initiative assists post-secondary graduates by matching them with a career-related work experience in order to gain employment experience and skills related to their field of studies or career goals.
The program connects young post-secondary educated professionals, 30 and under, with employers across all industries. Candidates receive customized coaching or mentoring sessions, networking events, and 12 weeks of subsidized work experience in their related field. Employers benefit from the program as it helps them to find young professionals that they might want to hire in the future.
