Pharmacy personnel who compound hazardous drug products will complete a theoretical and practical assessment of hazardous and non-hazardous sterile compounding processes. Completion of a written test, a media fill test and gloved fingertip sampling are included in this course. This recertification course is designed to fulfil the requirements of NAPRA’s Model Standards for Pharmacy Compounding of Hazardous Sterile Preparations’ competency assessment program.
The first ten hours of this course are online self-study. You will get access to this component on the start date. The online component must be completed two days before the lab component.
