Leadership Experience and Development (LEAD)
Improve your leadership skills and your student experience with the LEAD series.
The LEAD series offers the following benefits:
- A rich student life experience
- Personal and professional development
- Networking opportunities with different groups at the College
- The potential to improve your leadership
- A chance to socially engage and meet other learners
To qualify for your LEAD Certificate, you need to meet these requirements:
- Take at least 5 LEAD workshops
- Do at least 10 hours of campus volunteering
(currently, only remote volunteer opportunities are available due to COVID-19 restrictions)
Once you've met the requirements, you'll get your LEAD Certificate. The work you've done will also be added to your co-curricular record.

ACCELERATE YOUR SUCCESS (AYS) Passport
Participate in the AYS passport program to fast-track the requirements to quality for your LEAD certificate!
You will be eligible for the LEAD certificate when you complete the following activities through the passport program:
• a minimum of 8 workshops/training sessions
(currently, limited volunteer opportunities are available due to COVID-19 restrictions)
The AYS passport has a collection of fun & free activities, training, and workshops all in one place. By participating in any of these activities, you can earn virtual badges/awards on D2L!
