Course Description

Students build on the skills they acquired in ACCT9101. The focus in this course is accounting for merchandise activities, basic payroll, and special journals. Students will complete:

  • journals,
  • issue credit memos,
  • calculate gross and net pay, deductions, and cost of goods sold, and
  • complete the accounting cycle of a merchandising company.

A business calculator and textbook are required.
