Need help using Bow Valley College's WiFi network? Look no further.

Bow Valley College offers free wireless internet access (WiFi) to students anywhere on Calgary's campuses.

Students log in to the eduroam wireless network with their student email and password.

The username and password for the wireless network are the same as the username and password used for the MyBVC.ca student account and D2L.

If you have had your MyBVC.ca student account password reset, you will need to enter your new password on your mobile device to continue using the WiFi services on campus.

Staff and faculty have access to the wireless network BVC and are required to log in to the network to use it. Staff can contact the IT department for assistance.

Staff who need access to the MyBVC.ca network can send a request to the Help Desk.

MyBVC Student Account passwords can be reset from the login page.

Once the password is reset, an email will be sent to the personal email account provided to the College with the username and a link to create a new password.

The new password must comply with the password security rules listed below.

Student account password security rules:

  1. The password cannot contain your name, student ID number, or birth date.
  2. The password must be eight characters or more.
  3. The password must contain three of the four following:
    1. A lowercase letter
    2. An uppercase letter
    3. A number
    4. A symbol (eg. !@*&)

If you need help connecting a wireless device, please bring your device to the Computer Support desk on the second floor of the RGO LLC in the North Campus, on Monday to Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Or call the Bow Valley College Help Desk at 403 410 1611 for assistance.
