International Tuition and Fees Payments

On Monday, November 22, online tuition payments will be moving to a new platform called PayMyTuition. PayMyTuition allows you greater choice in how you pay your tuition, adding PayPal, international bank transfers, Visa Debit, Mastercard Debit, and Amex, to your existing options: Visa, Mastercard, online banking, and cheque. This change improves security for your financial information and allows you to download and view receipts any time of day.

You’ll see this change when you go to make an online payment through (Registration ▶ Make a Payment). No-fee¹ payment options include bill payments from Canadian banks, cheques, and money orders. Some payment methods, like PayPal and credit/debit cards will have a handling fee, which will be shown to you before you start the payment.

Payments through Other Platforms
When using other platforms different than PayMyTuition, such as submitting payments on VAS, or local online banking and you would like to obtain a receipt:
Email: Registrar Services at to issue receipts for payments not made through PayMyTuition (ie. VAS payments, local online banking, cheques).
Statement of Account: Students can download their statement of account from or request a copy by email or in-person at the Registrar Office.

Bow Valley College has partnered with PayMyTuition to support our learners making international tuition payments. Bow Valley College has 3 portals available to students through PayMyTuition (make sure you choose the right option to pay):

Portal 1: Payments within Canada (I am paying tuition/fees from a Canadian bank, institution, or card. Require BVC Student ID)
Portal 2: International Payments (I am paying tuition/fees from an international bank, institution, or card. Require BVC Student ID)
Portal 3: Application Payments within Canada and International (I am paying an application fee from Canada or internationally. Require VAS ID) 

NOTES for important steps for payments:

1. Make a payment
PayMyTuition will provide you with instructions to pay the amount of your transaction to our tuition collections account. 
2. Fund your transaction
Please make the transfer within 48 business hours via online banking or by branch deposit.
3. Track & confirm your payment
MTFX will send you a confirmation upon receipt of your funds and once your payment has been processed by your school. This can take up to 72 business hours to complete. Please inform Bow Valley College staff via the message centre in the application portal once you complete the payment.
