Public Sector Body Compensation Disclosure

Public sector bodies are now required to post online the names and compensation paid to:

• All board members
• Employee who earn over the following amounts:
  • $132,924 in 2019
  • $135,317 in 2020
  • $136,805 in 2021
  • $141,183 in 2022
  • $150,219 in 2023
  • $155,176 in 2024
  • $159,676 in 2025

This is a requirement under the Public Sector Compensation Transparency Act, which applies to:

• Agencies, boards, and commissions governed by the Alberta Public Agencies Governance Act‍
• Independent Offices of the Legislature
• Employees of Covenant Health
• Other entities identified in the regulations

The first posting was required by June 24, 2016.
