What is LEAD Academy?
The LEAD Academy consists of workshops and learning activities geared towards helping you become a better leader. You will learn and develop skills according to the 6 Pillars of Leadership:
- Leadership and Me
- Cultivating Self Awareness
- Civic Engagement
- Effective Communicating
- EDI (Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) and Cultural Competencies
- Effective Goal Setting

- A LEAD Academy Certificate and a letter of reference from Student Affairs
LEAD Academy Certificate
To qualify for your LEAD Academy Certificate, you will need to meet the following requirements:
- Take at least 8 LEAD Academy workshops, one from each pillar is mandatory.
- Take part in at least 10 hours of campus or community volunteering.
- Complete and submit workshop reflections after each workshop.
Apply to receive your LEAD Academy Certificate upon completion of the above requirements by completing the LEAD Academy Program Completion Certificate Request Form. The work you've done will also be added to your co-curricular record.
*Note: Students are responsible for tracking their own progress in the program.
