Introducing Compliance Health Powered by Bow Valley College
Revolutionizing Healthcare Competency and Compliance Management
Alberta healthcare professionals will soon have access to a digital platform that streamlines training and manages their regulatory compliance.
Compliance Health powered by Bow Valley College will integrate training modules, track compliance in real-time, and use artificial intelligence (AI) insights.
Approved by the Government of Alberta, Compliance Health will initially be wholly owned by Bow Valley College. The corporation will have an independent board with representation from the college.
Bow Valley College is looking at an initial investment of $250,000. Compliance Health would return that seed funding and contribute additional ongoing revenues to the college.
“Compliance Health reflects Bow Valley College’s commitment to advancing healthcare excellence through technology, continuous learning, and professional growth.” – Michael Crowe, Vice President, Academic.
Onboarding and online training of healthcare professionals through Compliance Health will improve efficiency. A scalable solution meant to fit organizations of all sizes, the platform will mitigate the risk of non-compliance in the evolving health sector, reducing fines and penalties.
“Bow Valley College continues to lead the way, offering a solution that meets the unique challenges of healthcare organizations by giving them the tools needed to stay on top of regulatory demands and focus on patient care.” – Tasneem Rahim, Vice President, External.
Compliance Health will use Pivot-Ed micro-credentials designed by the college for its initial launch and will build upon Bow Valley College’s comprehensive platform within six months of operational startup.
“Alberta’s Government encourages post-secondary institutions to find creative ways to generate their own revenue, and I am glad to see this initiative from Bow Valley College. This subsidiary will allow Bow Valley College to monetize innovative software designed to help health care organizations enforce required training, attract and retain talent. Bow Valley College’s plan supports the Alberta 2030: Building Skills for Jobs strategy, which encourages innovation and commercialization, and I look forward to seeing this come to fruition.” – Rajan Sawhney, Minister of Advanced Education.
Launching Compliance Health also supports Bow Valley College’s new Strategic Plan, Launch | Advance | Evolve, in being a catalyst for growth, creating opportunities in education and career advancement, and co-creating solutions for complex problems.
