Canmore Campus Closure
Bow Valley College can confirm it has decided to close its Canmore campus, effective August 30, 2020. With decreasing enrolment it was no longer viable to continue to operate a physical campus in Canmore. The remaining students will be supported until the end of their credit programs, which will finish before the campus closure.
In keeping with Bow Valley College’s Mandate, we will continue to serve the Canmore community in several ways. Students will continue to have access to Bow Valley College’s wide array of programs and courses offered through online learning, and our nearby regional campuses in Banff and Cochrane remain open. The College will also continue to support the community by offering dual-credit programming with local school divisions and business workshops with the hospitality sector as we strive to better align our programs and courses with community needs from an employment opportunity perspective. Our focus is to provide an enriched educational experience that supports our Canmore-based students in achieving long-term community, employment, and social success.
Bow Valley College extends its thanks to the students, faculty, and members of the Canmore community who have supported the campus for the past 25 years.
