Bow Valley College prepares graduates for cutting-edge opportunities through Adobe’s Academic Initiative program
CALGARY - Bow Valley College will be the first and only Canadian post-secondary institution to participate in the Adobe's Academic Initiative analytics program.
The Academic Initiative program was created to provide faculty and students with access to the industry's leading online marketing technology.
Beginning next year, Adobe Analytics will be offered as a component of the Fundamentals of Digital Marketing Analytics course. This course was designed as part of the College's new School of Creative Technologies' Digital Marketing Post Diploma.
The course is also being offered, in collaboration with the Chiu School of Business, as part of the Digital Marketing major within the Business Administration Diploma.
Learners will now have the opportunity to specialize in digital analytics using Adobe's enterprise-level platform, preparing them for careers in digital marketing after graduation.
"As the only Canadian institution to participate in the Adobe Academic Initiative program, we're really excited to provide this to our learners," says Dr. Cherylyn Cameron, Dean, School of Creative Technologies at Bow Valley College. "With the push towards integrated analytics and design, having the ability to offer this course will equip our students with in-demand skills."
The accredited Digital Marketing Post Diploma is an eight-month program beginning in January 2018, with applications opening next week. The Adobe Analytics component of Fundamentals of Digital Marketing Analytics is designed to help learners understand how to use reports and analytics to make effective business decisions.
