Bow Valley College Names Director of Business Development
CALGARY - Anna Kae Todd, Vice President Academic and Chief Learning Officer, is pleased to announce the appointment of David Harvey as Director of Business Development at Bow Valley College.
This new role will be focused on fostering innovative, mutually beneficial partnerships and training opportunities in the business and healthcare communities in the Greater Calgary region. "As part of our mandate to ensure their graduates receive a work-ready education, Bow Valley College already partners with hundreds of business and healthcare professionals as advisors to our academic programs. This position is an extension of that ongoing commitment to adding long-term value to these vital professional communities," said Todd.
Harvey has more than 20 years of experience in higher education and joins the College from Saskatchewan Polytechnic, where he served as the Associate Vice President, Business Development and Advancement. He has expertise in corporate and continuing education training, donor and alumni relations, project management and proposal development, and international education. "I am excited to be part of the amazing growth that Bow Valley College has experienced in recent years, and I'm looking forward to matching grads and businesses with opportunities for the lifelong achievement of everyone involved," said Harvey.
Harvey received a Master's Degree in Education Leadership and Administration, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Saskatchewan. He also received a Diploma in Geophysical Engineering from NAIT.
