Practical Nurse Diploma Fall 2019 High River Campus - 4 term pathway. Now accepting paper applications, in person, at the Okotoks or High River Campus.

COMING SOON to the Okotoks Campus - Early Childhood Education and Development Certificate Fall 2019
You will be eligible to receive a Government Child Development Worker Certification upon completion (formerly Level 2).

Don't have the English pre-requisites?  We are also offering: 
ENGL1201 through Open Studies in a Traditional Classroom setting, Tuesday evenings 6:00-9:00pm starting May 2019 at the Okotoks Campus.
Open Studies ENGL1201 credits earned are transferable towards your ECED Certificate.

The High River campus offers a range of English Language classes. Details for the next offerings are as follows:

LINC class, Levels 4 to 6
January 15 to March 21, 2019
Tuesdays and Thursdays
6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
April 23 to June 27, 2019
Tuesdays and Thursdays
6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
You must be a permanent resident or refugee to take this class - No cost.

Canadian Language Benchmark Testing

Bow Valley College partners with ILVARC and the Government of Canada to offer Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) testing at the High River campus.

CLB testing is available at 9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m. or 1:00 p.m.on: 

  • February 14th
  • March 7th and 21st
  • April 11th and 23rd

Please contact the High River Campus to book your CLB testing time.

Community Partnerships

Bow Valley College in the Foothills is pleased to partner with other local organizations to support community initiatives. 

In partnership with Business Link, Community Futures, and the High River Chamber of Commerce, the High River campus will host a series of 1 hour entrepreneurial workshops that will help connect small businesses with services to assist them in the Foothills region.
