English language classes

The High River campus offers a range of English language classes. Details for the next offering are as follows:

LINC class, Levels 4 to 6
October 1 to December 5, 2018
Monday and Wednesday
6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Permanent residents and Convention refugees eligible

Canadian Language Benchmark Testing

Bow Valley College partners with ILVARC and the Government of Canada to offer Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) testing at the High River campus.

CLB testing is available at 9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. on:  

  • November 7th
  • December 6th and 19th
  • January 10th and 24th

Please contact the High River Campus to book your CLB testing time.

Community Partnerships

Bow Valley College in the Foothills is pleased to partner with other local organizations to support community initiatives. 

In partnership with Business Link, Community Futures, and the High River Chamber of Commerce, the High River campus will host a series of 1 hour entrepreneurial workshops that will help connect small businesses with services to assist them in the Foothills region.

Up next on Monday, November 5th: Social Enterprise 101, from 12 to 1 p.m. The event will be held at Bow Valley College, High River Campus, 2nd Floor, 710 Centre St SE, High River, Alberta.
This one-hour workshop will help you connect with services available for small businesses and entrepreneurs in the Foothills region. One-on-one coaching sessions are also available after the workshops.
