Due to the evolving situation with the Omicron variant of COVID-19 and the College's ongoing commitment to the health and safety of our community, we have made the decision to extend our temporary switch to online learning until at least February 13, 2022. . Health program labs will continue to be in person.

Please review the following information to confirm whether your program includes in-person course delivery during this time:

Post-Secondary Programs:

  • School of Health and Wellness: lectures will be delivered online, clinical courses will be delivered in the workplace, and labs will be primarily delivered on campus, in-person.
  • School of Community Studies: lectures will be delivered online. Check with your program area for updates on practicum courses.
  • Schools of Business, Technology, and Centre for Entertainment Arts courses will be delivered online.

Foundational Programs (Schools of Foundational Learning and Global Access):

  • Courses will be delivered online.

Continuing Learning:

  • Courses will be delivered online.

Regional Campuses:

  • Courses will continue to be delivered hybrid/blended with computer labs available by appointment. Contact your regional campus location for appointments.

Note: Delivery modes are subject to change based on updates to public health guidelines and policies from the Government of Alberta and City of Calgary.

All students studying on-campus must show a student photo ID card on entry. It is important you have an active student ID card with your photo before January 2022. You can request a photo ID card from Registrar Services by uploading a photo of yourself and a piece of government-issued photo ID through this secure online form (MyBVC log-in required).

Students must be fully vaccinated with all required COVID-19 doses to enter our campuses and provide proof. Negative test results will not be accepted.
