Regardless of your program of study or delivery method, during the COVID-19 public health crisis access to campus is limited to scheduled courses and approved appointments with College faculty or staff. If you do not have a scheduled and approved reason to visit campus, you should not visit campus. All learner services including advising, registration, academic support, library services, counselling, accessibility, and career services are available online and/or by phone.

This information is intended for students in Academic Upgrading and Indigenous Upgrading programs for Fall 2021.
If you are in a different program, please select your program from the Fall 2021 Delivery Methods page.

✔️ Your program will have in-person teaching options for Fall 2021. Review the details here and ensure you request a student ID card before the term begins.

All upgrading courses will be taught with in-person options which means they will have one or more sections of courses taught in-person or through a hybrid/blended delivery.

Each student's experience will be unique and your Fall 2021 term may have a different schedule of online or in-person courses than another student. Carefully check your courses when you self-register and your schedule provided by Enrolment Services for more information.

Each course has a dedicated instructor available to you, plus you have access to academic support staff, learning support staff, and academic advisors to help you with your studies. Your courses may have scheduled lectures, assignments, or test dates. Review your course syllabus carefully for assigned dates.

The schedule for your in-person on-campus courses will be provided by Enrolment Services at a later date. This schedule may not appear in your MyBVC schedule. For questions about your in-person class schedule times contact the Enrolment Services by email at upgradingservices@bowvalleycollege.ca.

All students studying on-campus must show a student photo ID card on entry. It is important you have an active student ID card with your photo before September 2021. You can request a photo ID card from Registrar Services by uploading a photo of yourself and a piece of government-issued photo ID through this secure online form (MyBVC log-in required).
