Regional Campuses

As Calgary and region's one and only comprehensive community college, Bow Valley College is committed to meeting your learning needs. From Canmore to Strathmore, our Regional Stewardship program partners with local employers and community organizations to offer a range of locally-delivered services.

Access learning opportunities through our flexible delivery options including classrooms and learning labs located in communities throughout the Calgary region, online with eCampusAlberta, and through self-paced home study. In addition, each of our regional campuses has its own local offerings, including evening classes, workshops, Occupational Skills Training, high school upgrading, corporate training, and more.

Your learning options.

Traditional In-Class Learning

Face-to-face, instructor-paced courses that are ideal for individuals who prefer an on-campus classroom setting with a regular schedule, and direct instructor support.

Online

With online learning, you use the Internet to access learning materials and interact with the instructor and other learners. Because all materials are accessed online, you have the flexibility to learn from anywhere you have an Internet connection, and with no traditional classes to attend, you are in control of your schedule and study time.

Anytime Online
Anytime Online courses allow you to study at your own pace from your home, work, overseas, or wherever you happen to be. Students write their exams at the college testing centre, at an eCampusAlberta partner college, or arrange to have their exam proctored at an approved location. Instructors and tutors provide support through telephone, email, chat, or meetings by appointment.

eCampusAlberta
eCampusAlberta is your connection to more than 800 online courses and 70 programs offered by Bow Valley College and 25 other Alberta post-secondary institutions. Your options include provincially-accredited certificates, diplomas, and applied degrees.

Blended

Blended delivery programs consist of courses that are delivered in a variety of ways including online, video conference, and traditional face-to-face instruction.

Homestudy

Homestudy gives you individualized learning materials and the flexibility to progress at your own pace. Courses can include learning enhancements such as instructor aid, computer technology, seminars and tutorials.

Self-paced part-time

Self-paced part-time programs allow you to progress through the course materials at your own pace (within a specified time period), with instructional support available as needed.
