Become a Student

Becoming a student at Bow Valley College is a big step... and one you don't have to take alone. Find out more about the many ways in which the Prospective Student Centre (PSC) can help you get there. Are you an international student? Visit International Education webpages for more information.

We see prospective students on a drop-in basis, so there's no need to make an appointment.

Number one

Discover which program is right for you
Find out about the various certificates and diplomas that Bow Valley College offers. Be sure to check out your selected program's admission requirements including English Language Proficiency. Debating between a few programs? Consider trying out our Student for a Day service, where you can sit in on a class, and speak to instructors and students in a given program, to help you narrow down your choices. Otherwise, join us for a campus tour.

Get more information
At the Prospective Student Center, you can get information on how to apply to our programs, what pre-requisites you'll need, and all the steps included in the admissions process. If you are unsure about which program you'd like to apply for, our staff can assist you in determining which program would be the best fit for you, or can let you know how to access one of our Career Exploration Workshops to speak to a Career Services Advisor.

Apply online or in person
If you have decided on a program, you can apply to the College either by applying online or by filling out a paper application. Computers are available in the PSC if you wish to apply online, or alternately, we can assist you if you wish to apply with a paper application.
