Full-time ELL (English Language Learning)

Our full-time English language learning (ELL) programs are funded by Alberta Works.  These programs are for learners who are not eligible for LINC funding.  They provide instruction in reading, writing and learning strategies, as well as listening and speaking.  Learners develop an understanding of Canadian culture and engage in real-life activities that help them live and work in Canada.

For information in multiple languages about our ELL programs, visit  Apply-ell.

There are three full-time ELL programs:

Full-time LINC (Literacy)

  • Pre-Benchmarks
  • Learners in this program have between 0 and 4 years of formal education

Full-time LINC (Practical)
