The Budgets And Financial Reports workshop gives you a solid foundation in finance covering topics like commonly used terms, financial statements, budgets, forecasting, purchasing decisions, and financial legislation.

Taxation for Small Business

Taxation for small businesses and self-employed individuals is an essential skill in managing a successful business. This workshop introduces Alberta and Canadian business taxes; the rules for sole proprietorship, partnership, and corporations; and filing and paying taxes by business type. Further develop your website to create more functionality and enhance your website. Topics include customized themes and modifying plugins, setting up page builders for additional functionality, and how to add cascading style sheets (CSS) to personalize your website.

Social Media Bootcamp

Learn to use social media tools to expand your market reach while enhancing your company's brand. Learn to plan an effective social media strategy, review and evaluate popular content channels, manage social media campaigns, create a brand target audience, and understand social analysis and metrics.

Marketing and Brand Development

Gain the knowledge and expertise to develop your content marketing and brand. Topics covered include content marketing, content strategy, storytelling, brand identity and development, brand awareness, and how to choose keywords and rich content including visuals (pictures, video).

Digital Marketing and Analytics

Develop the skills required to promote effective digital marketing and dynamic content. This workshop focuses on web analytic tools, search engine optimization (SEO), trend analysis, patterns and demographics, social media metrics, paid search campaigns, and cyber security.

Launching an e-commerce business? Examine various e-commerce tools, the essentials of electronic commerce and how to manage and assess opportunities, limitations, issues and risks. Topics include e-commerce strategy and global issues, e-commerce security, payment solutions, and order fulfillment.
