We aim to enhance the capacity of Bow Valley College to access major research grants and involve and support BVC employees and learners in research with funding opportunities and research training.
Capacity Development is the process by which individuals, groups and organizations, institutions and countries develop, enhance, and organise their systems, resources and knowledge; all reflected in their abilities, individually and collectively, to perform functions, solve problems and achieve objectives (OECD, 2006).
|Brown Bag Lunches
These seminars allow researchers at Bow Valley College to present their projects and findings to interested peers, colleagues, and learners.
|Internal Research Grants
Internal Research Grants provide funding for small research projects done by Bow Valley College employees.
Applied Research and Evaluation offers a variety of workshops throughout the year to help build the capacity and knowledge of the BVC community in areas of applied research.
