UNDERSTAND YOUR CAMERA - CANMORE
Are you in control of your camera?
Do you leave the camera settings at automatic and hope for the best?
Whether you have a basic compact camera or a fancy SLR, this class will teach you how to use and understand your camera. By using simple demonstrations, Richard will give you confidence with your photography and put you in control of your camera.

UNDERSTAND YOUR CAMERA 2 - CANMORE

Do you understand the basics on how your digital SLR works? Do you want to take your photography to the next level? This course is dedicated to users of digital SLR cameras who want to know more about their camera and be more creative with their photography.
Topics include: Tips for using flash, night photography, using different focusing modes, using polarizing and neutral density filters, choosing lenses and basic panorama photography.

Cost: $50 with GST

TAKE BETTER PHOTOS - CANMORE
This class will teach students how to take stunning photographs that will impress your friends and family. Even experienced photographers will benefit from this evening class. You will learn simple tips on how to make strong compositions and avoid common mistakes. Richard will show you how to use available light to your advantage. Bring eight photos and have them critiqued.

WHERE ARE MY PHOTOS? - CANMORE

You have a digital camera, now what? Learn to download photos from your camera, find them on your computer, email photos, save to a CD, and make simple adjustments to your photos. Richard will teach you how to do all this
and more in a fun class that uses free software. for PC users.

GREAT TIPS FOR BETTER NATURE PHOTOGRAPHS
Discover simple but very effective tips to take better landscape and wildlife photographs. The class is aimed at users of SLR and advanced compact cameras and will look at composition, using autofocus, polarizing filters, planning, choosing lenses as well as other great tips.

NEW! - INTRODUCTION TO VIDEO - Most digital cameras now offer the ability to shoot video; also, camcorders are very affordable. This class offers great tips on how to create videos that your friends will enjoy watching. Richard will also explain the advantages and disadvantages of using camcorders or still cameras to shoot video and will look at the best methods to light your videos and create great sound.
