Creating a Culture of Consent: A Bystander Workshop
Increase your knowledge and ability to identify how media and society perpetuate harmful messages about consent, relationships and sexual violence. We will explore and discuss the bystander effect and some common barriers to intervention. You will also learn some practical tools that will prepare you to recognize where and when to be an active bystander.
We recognize that this can be a difficult topic and we are committed to having a counsellor present to support students if needed.
