Rounding up the best and brightest entrepreneurs at the 8th annual Innovation Rodeo, hosted by Bow Valley College
Aspiring entrepreneurs will saddle up to Bow Valley College July 10-14, 2023, for the 8th annual Innovation Rodeo.
Alberta’s innovators, change-makers, startups, scale-ups, and investors will be corralled at the College for five days of upskilling, connecting, and ecosystem building.
Monday’s keynote speaker, Mike Michalowicz, is a powerhouse in the business world, having authored multiple books in several languages. His session will help attendees identify how to improve their business, maintain profitability, and grow.
Participants will compete for daily prize money in innovation challenges, and high school students will try to rope in a win in the crowd favourite pitch competition. And some of Alberta’s most promising first-time entrepreneurs from post-secondary schools across the province compete for $75,000 in cash and prizes.
“Previous students won scholarships to a boot camp at Draper University in Silicon Valley. Some have come back with six-figure investments, had a taste of the billionaire lifestyle with trips on private jets, and started their own companies here in Alberta, with major clients,” says Craig Elias, Entrepreneur-in-Residence, Bow Valley College.
